We have hosted some volunteer training events for those interested in opening and/or volunteering at an overnight or daytime shelter. Below is a link for an comprehensive powerpoint with a lot of information for those of you who want to become involved.
The powerpoint is specific to one of our overnight shelters (Holy Spirit) and any church interested in opening its own shelter should be aware that they can amend any of these suggestions to best fit their own needs. Every church has its own community and will have its own rules accordingly.
